About Me

A Life Dedicated animals

Hi, I’m Kirsten, and dogs have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by them, spending much of my childhood showing Flatcoated Retrievers and taking part in junior dog agility. Alongside dogs, horses were a huge part of my world too—I spent years riding and competing in Eventing and even as a teenager I was trusted and gifted  “unrideable” or “untrainable” horses, helping to build their confidence, earn their trust, and develop a true partnership.

My journey into dog training deepened when I got my first dog, Indie, a beautiful English Pointer, 11 years ago. She wasn’t the easiest first dog, but she taught me so much. I spent countless hours in the field working on her recall and obedience, and that experience really shaped my approach today. More recently, we welcomed Toffee, our 10-month-old miniature dachshund—completely different from the gun dogs I was used to, but just as bright, full of character, and an absolute joy.

My own dogs are often admired for their temperament and obedience, and it was this that ultimately inspired me to step away from my corporate career and follow my passion full-time. Now, I’m dedicated to helping other dogs and their owners build strong, trusting relationships through training, care, and understanding. As well as looking after other people’s cherished dogs to the same high standard as my own, welcoming them into our family with love and care while their owners are away.
